Wiping varnish is exactly as easy to apply (it can literally have exactly the same application method, although there are other options). And one of its other key advantages which is related to this is that it has certain superior drying characteristics. Plus it offers superior protection, not that this is likely needed for a shelf, just mentioning it for completeness. | |
