I'm making a wooden frame (for a loft) and would like to make that without using any angles or fittings.

I'm looking for joint alternatives for connecting the corners without using any metal angles/fittings.

Perhaps using a combination of rabbet joint and some other type of joint?

When it comes to woodworking, would you classify your skills as novice, intermediate, or advanced? Are you looking for simple, easy, or attractive? – Tester101 Jul 26 '15 at 13:19
  • I'm probably novice although I sometimes feel like an intermediate ;) And I'm looking for any alternatives that would look good and at the same time not too complicated. I also should mention I want the box to be near roof height, so preferably no need for screws entering from the top. – andersand Jul 27 '15 at 8:57
  • That answer does not seem to include corners, which is what my question is about – andersand Jul 28 '15 at 17:30

I would suggest migrating this to the Woodworking SE. – BrownRedHawk Jul 28 '15 at 17:38
  • Sounds fitting, please do – andersand Jul 28 '15 at 17:47
