I set it in a wood box with 2" styrofoam around to keep the sound down. I run 2" pvc pipe with 45 degree connections. (changed from 90 degree last year) I have several blast gates within 15' of the vac. Main one is 6 ft away. For several machines, I run an 8' flex hose and switch from machine to machine. I blow the vac air outside through a small clothes dryer vent so the air is not being recycled. I use a 2 bucket DIY cyclone which captures 99% of the sawdust. It works great for small saw dust par | |
